COMPUTER CENTER

Computer and Internet access and training to teachers and students:

• We have 14 computers in the computer centre of which 8 numbers are connected with Local Area Network. With this we are providing internet facilities to the students and teachers at subsidized rates. Most of the PG/ UG students are doing their project works through the computer centre. Computer Centre is also used for arranging classes for the students of B.Sc Physics (C-Programming), M.Com (Excel and Access) and M.Sc Chemistry (Basic Programming).  Computer printing charges through the computer centre are subsidized for students and teachers. Spoken English training is also given to the students using the facilities of the computer centre.
• The local MLA sanctioned the five computers, to the college from the MLA fund, which were installed in the departments of Botany, Malayalam, Chemistry and Office.
• Computer facilities are also available in the teaching department and office for the use of faculty members and the non-teaching staff.

Computer Centre – AIMS

• To promote computer literacy among the students/ teaching and non-teaching staff
• To offer short-term courses for the staff and students
• To organize workshops and seminars on latest trends in information technology.
• To provide internet facility
• To connect the departments/ office with the computer center.
• To provide uptodate information on UGC, NAAC, University and other Higher Education bodies.
