Merit Day- Organised by PTA

Merit day was celebrated on Feb 3^rd 2010.  The function was presided by the Principal Dr. Suma Narayanan.  The secretary of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy,   Dr.Prabhakaran Pazhassi delivered the keynote address. Cash awards and mementoes were presented to the best outgoing students in each subject at University level.  The felicitation talks were given by Dr.K.V.Anil (IQAC Co-Ordinator), M.M.Nigin (College Union Chairman). Vote of thanks was delivered by PTA Secretary Smt.C.Sreelatha.

Farewell to Teaching and Non Teaching Staff

Farewell to there tiring teachers during 2009-10was conducted on 26-3-2010.  The function was presided by the PTA Vice President Sri.C.B.Sunilkumar.  He also presented the momentoes to the retiring teachers. Felication talks were given by (1). Sri P.S.Feroz (PTA Executive member).

Website Inauguration Function Organised by PTA on 30-3-2010

Website inauguration was done 30-03-2010.  The “switch on” was done by the RDC convener Sri. K.V.Sadanandan. The function was presidented over by the principal and vote of thanks was delivered by Smt. S.Ajitha.

 

PTA 2009-2010

• Merit Day was celebrated on 3^rd February 2010.  During this occasion PTA presented cash awards and mementoes to the best outgoing student in each subject at the University level.   Also felicitated the winners in sports festival conducted at the University level.  The total expense was Rs.10,000.
• Financial assistance to the tune of Rs.1,50,000/- was given to various clubs and committees, IQAC, Co-operative society, Computer Centre and for conducting model examinations.
• College PTA was funding salaries to guest lecturers appointed in various departments, salary to watchman and sweeper.   Amount spent during the year Rs.1,20,000/-.
• The payment of electricity bill in alternate months, and the broadband phone bill was also provided by the PTA. Amount spent  Rs. 84000/-.
• Farewell to the retiring staff was also given by the PTA.
• PTA was very Co-operative in maintaining  smooth and peaceful working atmosphere in the college.
