Department of Commerce 2009-2010

• The major activity of the department during the year was participation in the socio-economic survey conducted in Nattika Grama Panchayath.  The result of the survey is being analysed and steps are taken for the inclusion of those persons who are not coming under the facility of banking.  22 families have already been identified and preliminary steps were taken for their inclusion.
• Two talks were conducted explaining the job opportunities existing for commerce graduates.
• In the coming year it is proposed to conduct a monthly talk programme with invited guests on various topics related to Commerce and Management
