- As a part of extension activities, a survey was conducted by second year B.Sc students in ward 8 of Nattika Grama Panchayath. The survey aimed at assessing the interest of the residents in developing and maintaining Kitchen Garden in their own premises. A questionnaire was distributed in 150 families and the feed back obtained in order to select the eligible families for the purpose. 15 families were selected. Vegetable seeds were purchased from Agricultural University, Vellanikkara and supplied to the 15 families. Our students gave instructions and manual help for starting kitchen garden.
